embarking/disembarking -- chaotic in Valparaiso but very smooth in Buenos Aires

ports - we very much enjoyed the three days we spent in Valparaiso pre-cruise

-punta arenas and ushuaia tours were fine, but scenery was old hat to those of us lucky enough to live in forested areas

Hi chinookgal, we appreciate your feedback on your recent Crown Princess voyage. We hope to welcome you onboard again soon!...

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

-useful to have a mini-suite when weather precludes the use of the balcony

-bathroom door opening into storage area is cumbersome and inconvenient

-if Princess is truly committed to improving their environmental stewardship, should have a paper recycling bin in each room --- or better yet, reduce the streams of paper sent to our rooms

-and do not replace towels and facecloths unless they are left on the shower floor

-given the number of guests with hearing loss, it would be useful to have closed captioning in English on the TV sets

Port Reviews

Montevideo

-museums closed for the holiday

Buenos Aires

-an exciting city with imposing architecture, beautiful and bountiful parks and squares, wonderful food

-many museums

Santiago (Valparaiso)

valparaiso an interesting city
