First let me start with the positive…
The ship is very clean and I generally felt very safe!
My cabin steward was invisible since I never actually saw them but the room was always tidied up with fresh ice, towels and towels animals. I know some people want to see their cabin steward but to me, the mark of a good steward is someone who is not at all intrusive and just quietly takes care of your cabin.
Cabin was fairly average, balcony was very small but the bathroom in the mini suite is really what your paying for. The largest bathroom I have ever experienced on a cruise ship.
I arrived a day early and visited the Sawgrass Recreation area in the Fort Lauderdale vicinity. Took a private air boat ride and really enjoyed it.
Excellent pool and beach area, plenty of space to enjoy the facility. Land Shark restaurant food was not very good and service is not weak at best but the drink were good!
The cruise line was charging far too much for a beach trip to Paradise Beach so I got off the boat and hopped in a taxi to the beach for a fraction of the cost. Beach is very nice, waiter service right to your lounge chairs and plenty of cabs available to bring you back to ship.
