We did an NCL cruise aboard the Epic a few years ago also in the Western Caribbean and had a blast. Maybe my expectations were too high because of that, but I was disappointed this time.

Arriving at the port, the gentleman handling our luggage advised this would be our only chance to tip him, before we even had our luggage off the taxi. So do you tip this guy who can lose your luggage? Of course. So this resulted in us boarding around noon and still no luggage by four, so we went searching and got it ourselves.

Boarding went fairly smoothly ans timely. Everyone headed for the 15th floor and the buffet. Good luck finding a table. Read more
