We wanted to experience a mega ship! Oasis of the Seas did not disappoint. Ship is amazing - we did not find it too large and loved the variety of dining options, bars, pools and outdoor activities, SPA, etc. I have cruised over 7 times with different cruise lines and found the staff on this mega ship simply amazing.. probably the best ever! From the guy painting to the cruise staff and waiters and room stewards - everyone was passionate about their job and ensuring we had a positive cruise experience. Highly recommend The Raddisson at Port Canaveral - this is a deluxe 'old style' Florida hotel. Staff and Cocoa Beach Shuttle staff were phenomenal and we did the hotel, shuttle, parking package which worked really well.

The entertainment on ship was stellar - "Cats" the musical (having seen it 4 times already) was remarkable. "Come Fly With Me" is another show not to be missed, and we were fortunate to listen to an acapella mens group from Orlando on the main stage - another fabulous evening of entertainment. Dazzles had live music as did Bolero, and we especially enjoyed the Schooner Bar with live piano. Loved that some of the "Cats" entertainers sang one evening at Dazzles and the music director played beautiful jazz piano one evening. Giovanni's Italian restaurant is worth the upcharge - especially to sit outside under the trees in Central Park while listening to the violin and piano - an enchanting evening. The Aqua Show is stunning! We had some pretty rough sea days but because of the way this ship is built - it was not bad at all, although one evening they had to close the top outdoor deck because of high winds.

Arrival and departure procedures were seamless... All in all - I would cruise this ship again and again!! We prefer E Caribbean but the snorkeling in Cozumel was phenomenal ... and Labadee was a delightful beach day with plenty of beach chairs and beautiful beaches. Buffet not wonderful - typical beach barbecue day.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D4

Cabin was clean and comfortable. WE had three women and I slept on the pull out sofa - it was pretty good. Plenty of hangers although we did pack a few extra. One thing to consider if you travel with 3 or 4 ... buy collapsible cloth denim cubes at Target - since drawers are limited - you can use these for overflow. I stored mine under the desk and desk chair was moved to outside balcony. Although there were 6 nice shelves in closet for clothes as well and plenty of under bed storage for luggage. Nice size outside deck.

We did bring a two outlet plug as there are no plugs in bathroom and only three on desk by makeup mirror. With three cell phones, and camera - it came in handy. There is a blow dryer in room.
