This was my only complaint on my recent sailing aboard the Koningsdam. I'm referring to the Holland American Line Mariners, the folks that have hundreds of days sailing on HAL. I've never heard so much unhappiness on a cruise among folks that have status. My advice to Holland America Line, IGNORE them. Our experience on the Koningsdam was wonderful...keep up the good work.

We arrived at the terminal about 11AM, and were sitting on the Lido deck by noon, having the first of many great meals. The food on this ship has only one rating....Excellent!

We had an inside stateroom on deck 6, plenty of storage space and a full size shower! Very quiet hallway. However, I believe that the stewards were sleeping under our bed, their service was so good, yet we barely saw them . Read more
