We chose this cruise because we can drive to Galveston and the price was right. Overall I had a great time. The food was good. We ate in all the restaurants on board and it was generally all good. The only slight disappointment was Giovanni's. The menu was a smaller version of what's posted online. We ate there twice and the food was cold the first time. Prawns were overcooked and under seasoned. Branzino was better but still under seasoned for me. DH got steak and veal and said they were good but not great. Savor in our opinion was the best. Johnny Rockets was my DDs favorite.

Ship itself was beautiful, clean and welcoming. Only staff that was rude worked on rock wall. All others were professional and helpful.

Embarkarion was easy. Got there at 9:45, not intentionally. We got an email from royal that we should allow extra time for Mardi Gras traffic and cc boards warned of construction delays. We encountered neither so we just waited longer inside. Ended up in first non loyalty group inside. Got to buffet before anyone else!
