We chose this cruise because it was leaving from San Francisco and we live in the area so there was no need for hotels or flights. We also liked the itinerary because it's nice to escape winter for a week sometimes!

Getting to the ship was pretty easy but there was a long wait for cars to pull up and find porters to get their bags. Overall it took about 30 minutes to go from the car to the ship once we got going. We have platinum status but I'm not sure that saved us much time as there were over 1000 platinum and elite passengers.

We booked a mini-suite for the three of us, 2 adults and 1 kid. The room was the same as every other mini we have had with two exceptions:

Hi Loretta777, we're so glad that your whole family enjoyed your Grand Princess voyage! It's great to hear that your son loved our Treehouse kid's club. We hope to welcome you all onboard...
