Beds were especially comfy; we moved the beds  to face the balcony to wake up for an ocean view; toilets had to be plumbed twice

MY GF being a former Princess agent had high hopes as well

The Positives

- International Cafe - was a nice touch; gelato, desserts, and salads available for free 24/7

- Salty Dog - nice specialty dining option; burger & Crab cakes were great

- Entertainment Options  - Was the entertainer of the Year cruise; Voice of the Ocean

- Horizon Buffet - Clean, well managed- not a feeding frenzy like other cruises; better selection of desserts than formal dining room

- Ship - Clean modern well maintained boat   

- Movies - In room movies had a good selection

- In Room Dining - ability to order breakfast via wi-fi a plus

The Negatives

- Bon Voyage Experience - Great idea poorly managed; Carol ditched our party; once we were on the ship we were on our own; there was no tour and no sales opportunity for future cruise 

-Specialty Dining - Poorly managed overall, walking by empty dining roos that you couldn't get reservations for

- Formal Dining -  food wasn't as impressive as Carnival or Holland America

- Fitness Center - Low ceiling, I'm 6'5" and could barely use the equipment

- Bar Service - Bar at the back of the ship bar was nice however only one bar menu was stupid; Stanny was a jerk!- Clocks - We traveled through two time zones and the ships clocks were never in sync with shore time

- Disembarkation -  was greatly delayed by people unaware they had to fill out customs paperwork; disorganized mess

- Princess theater -having signage on who was playing would have helped; ship personnel to help with seating would have helped; small theater for a ship of that size; 8 o'clock shows you need to arrive very early for seating 

-Excursions - Cabo San Lucas was pretty disappointing; Puerta Vallarta & Mazatlan more memorable

- Wi-Fi -prohibitively expensive in comparison to carnival 

- In Room Breakfast - Limited continental breakfast offerings; no bacon/sausage/toast 

Princess needs the equivalent of a secret shopper to help management be aware of the issues  to get them back to the reputation they once
