This was my first time cruising as a solo traveler, and I didn't realize Brilliance actually had three interior studio cabins on board. I was lucky enough to get one, and although it was small (about 110sf) I found it comfy for a party of one, and very conveniently located on Deck 4, around the corner from the Centrum and Minstrel dining room. This was my second time cruising on Brilliance, and the staff were really friendly, inclusive, and accommodating.
Embarkation/Disembarkation was a breeze! While I didn't do any shore excursions, I did go on land in Grand Cayman, and the tendering process -- which I was concerned about -- was actually very easy.
I wish there were more 24/7 dining options, but enjoyed most meals in the formal dining room. The staff offered to sit me at a group table, but i opted for the peace and quiet of a table for one. Delicious food and attentive staff made it great experience.
I loved the location of this cabin. Despite it's small size, it felt comfortable. If you don't like the absence of a window, you can always tune your flat screen TV to the channel that shows what is going on outside the ship. But I personally would rather enjoy the fresh air from the deck, than my cabin.
In the evenings, entertainment in the Centrum could be faintly heard from the room, but I didn't find it so loud that you couldn't rest.
Bring a night light, because the room is incredibly dark with lights off. There were some mornings I thought it was still 3am, but the smartphone said 9am!
Easy port to navigate.
Plenty of shopping at and near the port, including some dining/bar options.
Good shops, restaurants and private beach clubs.
