Port Reviews

Hong Kong

Hong Kong is an amazing city - take the hop on hop off bus to get your bearings

Hanoi

What an amazing place, bigger than I was expecting and more beautiful. I booked a private tour on day 1 and a ships tour on day 2 as I wanted to cover my bases for the weather - this turned out to be a smart move as we had blue skies on day 1 and a misty overcast day on day 2.

Da Nang

Booked Hoi An On Your Own via the ship and had a great day exploring this pretty place, great shopping (wished I could have stayed a few days) and food.

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)

I've been to Bangkok before so I spent 2 days in Pattaya shopping, getting massages and eating great local food. Caught a taxi each way for about 900 Bat (shared with 2 others) as no shuttle was provided by the cruise line. Princess cruises provide a shuttle at a cost of about $8 each way from memory).

Singapore

What do I need to say, this was my 5th visit to this amazing city - Must Dos: Breakfast with the orangutans at Singapore Zoo, Gardens by the Bay at night for the light show, Hop on Hop off bus, Bunboat ride on the river and explore the food in the Hawker Centres.
