We wanted a quick get away from Mardi Gras. Chose the Paradise because their itinerary worked well with our schedule. We had a large suite and it was great, walk in closet, full bath, wonderful balcony, and nice king size bed. The room was hot when we arrived but our steward brought us a fan and the room cooled off and was very comfortable. The ship needs updating, carpets are worn, areas show wear and tear, but the staff worked hard to keep it clean. Boarding was simple but that was a perk from being in a suite, debarkation was the same.

Food was very good, our waiter was wonderful very attentive and pleasant. I had the filet one night and there was an extra charge but it was worth it. We ate in the dining room every night and had a room service sandwich one day, it was also good.

The pool was fine, actually there are lots of areas to sun and you can find privacy if you look for it. Had two spa treatments and they were wonderful.
