I have been on two cruises in the past and they were both on RCCL. My husband had never been on a cruise before. He was in the Navy for 10 years so the last thing he wanted to do was get on a ship. Being as we both love Disney, I talked him into a cruise on one of their ships. I figured that was the only way I would be able to get him to go on a cruise with me. It was a short cruise so that he could see if he liked it. He had a great time and so did I.

Our last night onboard we booked a four night cruise for this upcoming Christmas-time which also happens to be our anniversary. Once we got back home he told me that he wished we were still on the ship and that he wasn't ready to get off of it. We then made up our minds to look into a 7 day cruise for the Spring of 2018. Well, we all know that Disney is quite costly so I decided to book one with RCCL. I have to say this, Disney spoiled us and I just felt in my heart that I would rather do a 7 day with them, regardless of the cost. So after much talk and discussion about it this morning, we cancelled our 7 day with RCCL and booked one with Disney...and we are going all out for that cruise (the one we just took was an interior room and our cruise that is booked for December is interior as well) by getting a room with a veranda on starboard side. That'll enable us to enjoy some quiet time outside and also watch those fireworks from our own little piece of the ship.

So about Disney...the food was great. The service was great. The ship was immaculate. The shows were awesome. Castaway Cay is phenomenal. I love how everything is already paid for. There is no extra fee for soda, coffee, or tea. They are at your disposal all day long. The self serve ice cream is also free of charge and always available, as is many other things like burgers or Pinocchio's Pizza. At Castaway Cay they had a big spread of more delicious food, and again, no extra fee to be able to enjoy it.

Castaway Cay

Castaway Cay is just an awesome place and we cannot wait to go back. The place was so clean and just a great spot in the world to just hang out and vedge for the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our day there.
