Harmony of the Seas - Eastern Caribbean, February 18 thru 25, 2017.
We are loyal to Royal cruisers, so going on Harmony was a no-brainer. We booked this cruise the day it became available, as the prices were too good to pass up. My wife (Paulette3028) and I both saw the prices that day, when I got home from work she said, "call and book that cruise, NOW!".
We had cabin 11329, all the way aft on the Boardwalk overlooking the Aqua Theater and the aft of the ship. WE chose that cabin because of the view, knowing at the time we'd be a long way from almost everything, but not realizing how long a way it was. We both averaged about 18,000 steps a day during the week. More on the cabin below.
We stayed in 11329, the last Boardwalk Balcony portside on deck 11. It provided a wonderful view of the Aqua Theater and the ocean at the aft. The room it well laid out, two closet areas surrounding the couch, a dresser desk combination opposite the couch, and the bed next to the balcony door. The bathroom was small, but the shower was much larger than usual. It was a very comfortable place to relax, dress and sleep, which is pretty much all we did there.
We don;t usually leave the ship in Nassau, this time we went on our own to the Pirates of Nassau museum and walked over to the Queen's Staircase. Interesting history at both places.
I took the water taxi to the shopping and beach area, $7USD for an all day pass. Did my shopping and went back to the ship.
