The Liberty of the seas is a beautiful, well appointed ship with every amenity one could want! We used the spa and had top notch treatments. The massage therapists were as good if not better than those we have had on other lines. My wife said the facial and wraps she received were as good or better than she has experienced on any other cruise line.

We paid for three excursions and all three were mediocre. Two were beach days and neither had anything but an inadequate number of beach chairs and drinks for purchase. The lunch on each was the same, beans, rice and dry BBQ chicken.

We expected a relaxing 7 day cruise but found ourselves surrounded by over 200 gay men dressed in speedos, no shirts and and/or vulgar, profane T-shirts. They were acting inappropriately in public areas. They monopolized the pool, hot tubs, Schooner bar, Windjammer area and other public areas due to the large number of men in this group. The crew did not address the concerns exhibited by these men which were very unsettling to families, children and others. Our daughter is lesbian, so we are hardly homophobic. Any guest in their attire exhibiting this behavior would have offended us.

Interior Stateroom

We were in an interior stateroom overlooking the promenade. It was adequate for the price. It was quiet in the evening. Compact clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable!
