Taking a cruise in mid-winter should be the highlight of one's January, but the overall disappointment of this ship left one cold.

Let me say that the ports were great, the weather delightful, and our group kept the conversations smart.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Clean, balcony lovely, great to have a magnifying mirror there. Shower was superb. Bed was lumpy and you either dipped into the center or slid toward the edge. Lighting was good, and we liked the conservation attempts used. TV and selections were good. Door to balcony was really hard to open ( heavy).

One real design flaw was on the sofa. It had an arm that snapped on. Since most folks lean on an arm ( and because it was near your nightstand ) it was dangerous as it always popped off and left you hanging. Not sure what purpose that served. We took ours off so no one would assume it was sturdy.

Port Reviews

Half Moon Cay

Beautiful beach, great weather, relaxing.

St. Thomas

Too many jewelry shops, too much traffic and exhaust smells in main town area.

San Juan

Loved walking old town, shopping , sitting in town square area.

Grand Turk

Great way to hit the beach, but a few things and just delight in the weather ....

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Spent time on Las Olas Blvd, did the river walk and enjoyed the eateries and fun people.
