My husband expressed interest in a Mississippe River cruise. I booked immedately on a last minute so price was what drew me however, will definitely book again. It's a wonderful cruise. The food is excellent...a great menu selection for all meals. Excellent wines are served at dinner. There are treats all over the boat ... popcorn, cookies, scones, specialty coffee and iced tea. Can;t name everything They have baked delightful gluten free desserts and scones for me. The service is excellent. The beds very comfortable. The entertainment is wonderful. The music is everywhere. The staff are so very friendly and they remember everything from one day to the next. The decor is so elegant. The Mark Twain room has fabulous furnishings with soft music playing all the time and the ladies parlour is bright and cheerful with gorgeous comfortable chairs and sittees. A wonderful place for sitting quietly reading. Highly recommend this cruise.
The cabin is lovely. It's small but adequate. You don't want to spend time in there anyway. We didn't participate in a lot of tours but really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs all over the boat.
