We went on this cruise with 12 other family members. It was our second cruise, the first being many years ago on Carnival. We really enjoyed this cruise, this itinerary, the ship and our cabin. We found the ship to be nicely laid out and generally in good condition. There are small signs of wear, but nothing major. The crew was always helpful, friendly and a lot of fun. We had an issue with dining where our group was split into 3 separate areas. The dining room manager was able to get us all together at two adjoining tables by the third evening. Our room attendant, Elroy, was very attentive and did everything possible to make our vacation enjoyable.

We loved the onboard amenities and activities. We attended many of the entertainment events and joined some of the planned activities. It was a blast. The food wasn't the absolute highlight of the cruise, but we liked trying new dishes. If we have any complaint, it isn't the fault of Royal Caribbean. We found many of our fellow passengers to be very rude and inconsiderate. People cut in front of you in the buffet line and at the bar. They gather in large groups in congested public area. The exact same people would take up seats in the same venues every night without considering that other passengers may want to have a chance to enjoy the place at some point.

I think that my only complaint with Royal Caribbean is that I truly believe that a 1 AM curfew for children is excessive. There were groups of teens at adult only entertainment in the evenings, hanging out in the Café Promenade and playing around in the elevators. There are plenty of planned activities for kids throughout the day, they do not need to be present that late in the evening during adult activities. I truly believe that 11 PM would be a much better curfew time for anyone under 18.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin I

We loved our cabin. It was the last cabin in a very short hallway. It backed up to the Sapphire Dining Room, so after dinner was over, it was very quiet. It was a bit larger than most oceanview cabins. There was TONS of storage. I definitely recommend this cabin to anyone that enjoys being lower in the ship.
