Wife booked this cruise and we had 8 total in our group and 3 cabins. Upon casual glance about the ship it seemed oddly laid out and to me there seemed to be a lot of wasted space. By that, I mean areas that were rarely used by anyone unless they were waiting for something else. Meaning, one area, looked really nice, but the only time I saw anyone sitting there was when they were waiting to get into the dining room.
Activities were good all around. Strange place for the ping-pong tables, but people did seem to enjoy them despite the swirling wind conditions.
As for ship condition, looking with a critical eye, I could see the wear and tear of the years the ship had been in service, but you really had to be critically looking for problems.
Absolutely loved the wrap-around balcony. The layout of the cabin was very nice as well. One could take a nap on the bed undisturbed while someone is in the main area.
Bathroom was surprisingly spacious, twin sinks. Shower/bath combo.
Lots of storage throughout.
One of the chairs had the rear feet/wheels removed, it tilted back, but was still comfortable. Almost like a recliner.
The only bad thing about the rear of the ship is the vibration. It is something you can get used to and even forget that it is happening, however there are times when it is stronger than others. Only time it woke me up was when the sea was really rough and we were on our way into port. Lots of vibration and thumping noises from the waves.
