Days are filled with hiking, snorkeling, and coastal boat rides to view amazing wildlife. The food is terrific and there is an emphasis on local and sustainable. Our cabin was comfortable (cleaned 3 times a day) and the hotel staff could not have been more accommodating. The passenger to staff ration was about two to one (two guests for every staff member). There were several lectures to help us understand the flora, fauna, and how the Galapagos has worked with the Charles Darwin Center to preserve and protect the environment. We learned about each island's history and geology before we embarked on each day's expeditions. The staff works especially hard to ensure that every passenger has an optimal experience. There were two National Geographic photographers on board to help the passengers with photo tips. This cruise was a very special experience and Linblad and National Geographic work together to make it unforgettable .
