Fantastic entertainment! From comedians to singing and dancing throughout the ship in various venues. Their main stage productions (Million Dollar Quartet and Burn the floor) were as close to Broadway as you can get. And as an added bonus the main performers from the Million Dollar Quartet (Elvis, Cash, Pickens, Lewis) on the last night of the cruise sang some songs in the Dueling Piano bar (towards closing 12 am- 1am) for a more intimate setting. They had everyone up and dancing.
The cruise director (Silas) was going non-stop keeping everyone happy and having fun. The deck parties in the evening were a lot of fun- people of all ages were dancing the night away.
We had the dining package so ate at the specialties restaurants- all were very good.
My mini-suite on the Getaway was no bigger than a regular balcony on the Princess ships (maybe a slightly bigger bathroom but no bathtub). The balcony was definitely smaller than a regular balcony on a Princess ship. It had just enough room for two upright chairs and a small table
just took a shuttle to a local beach.
Very nice pool, but VERY expensive drinks. For their own island they should run in like Princess runs their private island- free food etc.
just walked around town
Hired a cab for the day for $75. The driver gave a fantastic tour of the island and then took us to a condo/hotel on West Bay. For $15 we got to use their fantastic pool and had beach chairs on the white sand beach. This place was right next to where the Norwegian cruise line excursion took people for $89 per person. So for half the price we got to spend the afternoon on the same beach (plus got a tour of the island. And the driver stayed with us the entire time, so were able to leave when we wanted....
