Warning!  This is a long and detailed, yet helpful and organized review.  I'm pretty opinionated and I'm quite frugal, so keep that in mind.  Also, the review is geared towards adults and for people who are not in balconies or suites.  I also will describe a fabulous 3-day post-cruise in the Olympic Peninsula and describe my Priceline successes at the end.

Seattle- We arrived one day early and had booked the Red Lion at Fifth Avenue (Priceline $75, regular rates $219).  This is a GREAT hotel because of its close proximity to Pike's Place Market and the relative ease of walking without lots of hills.  It is also a very nice place.

Transportation to hotels: You can take the Greyline Airporter bus from SEATAC for $11 pp. by baggage carousel #1 and the bus is right outside.  We did not make a reservation.  We needed to walk from the nearest drop-off at the Sheraton and walked up one block.  The Greyline does not stop at every hotel.
