First time on small/midsize ship! Loved no children policy met some wonderful people whom we hope to keep in contact. Food and restaurants faultless staff generally great some in windows cafe looked genuinely unhappy. Cabins great I'm 6'4 and had no issues with the bathroom. Lots of nice touches like cold towels and drinks getting off and on the ship. Bar staff very attentive and generous no penny pinching and they took an interest in getting to know what your preferences were. Eric cruise director was fabulous very funny and talented his performances were the stand outside for my wife and I the grand pa jokes hilarious (we bought the book). Azamazing evening and white night to highlights had a blast both nights.
Only criticism and were they can improve is the guest entertainment very ordinary the magician was terrible and got a second night performance total amateur one guest lecturer great the other (musical expert) boring this guy swanned around the ship as if he owned it and let everyone know. Biggest issue is the poolside lounges some very poor behaviour at least 10 couples who believed they owned certain lounges and would place books from the onboard library on THEIR lounges and would be absent for hours on end every day at sea. The daily update continually asked for this not to happen and that after 30mins items would be taken however this was never enforced Azamara if you say you're going to do it then do it! If this was enforced it wouldn't happen these people knew it and carried on with utter contempt.
Only other issues were the smokers which were in a position which had smoke wafting into the internals of the shift and onto the upper sundeck which is where they should be. Fantastic cruise line almost perfect will definitely sail Azamara again!
Nothing to do
