No flight needed if I cruise out from NJ, and I have cruised with Princess twice in the past, I want try something different. When I first started my booking, things have already gone wrong. My first booking is 12 nights South Caribbean cruise. After two months of my booking, I got a call that this cruise has been cancelled, so I have to choose another one, and lose all my previous booking benefits. It is holiday cruise time, all booking are gone fast. I can got a deal two months ago, doesn't means that I would be getting it two months later. So, I ended up booking an Eastern Caribbean trip which I did once before, such disappointment.

The next issue came with online booking system. After my booking, I didn't pay everything in full, I am planning to pay it before the full payment deadline. So, when it is approaching the deadline time, I want check how much that I should pay online by myself, then I found out all my discount code are gone, my fare went up from 6000 to 7000. So, I called RCl to redo the entire thing. Then, I found out, you cannot click on "my cruise" on site. Bad online app design, a lot of defects. I think transactions involving money, they should ensure the app is working as it suppose to be (at least).

The On-boarding process is fairly easy, maybe because I arrived early. However, I do noticed, it is a little bit dis-organized at port. There are many trainees on the site during the boarding process, people are getting skipped or some of the important flyers are not handed to each party.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

We stayed in Cabin 11772, the cabin is a descent size. However, I noticed this room has loud quirky sounds all the time. I am a deep sleeper, but I end up woke up in the middle of the night due to the sounds.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

same as other reviewer, the transportation is not a very convenient.

San Juan

I have been here many times, kind of sad the tax rate is very high here.

Labadee

everything is privilege, you have to pay money for. Even the chair on the beach that you have to pay ppl to set it up. The ocean is not that great.

St. Maarten

nice island. We went to the French side, the ocean is not that pretty, but overall experience is ok.
