We heard a lot about the revamped Destiny, now called the Sunshine but were totally disappointed. To make room for more passengers, the shops, Casino, rooms and pool area were small. There was not enough room on deck, including the Serenity area to accomodate the guests. The Lido marketplace was small and was not equipped to handle the crowds. The layout was confusing causing long lines to merge. The decor was a total disappointment. The promenade, usually a well decorated area with seating along the windows appeared to be a back hallway in a cheap hotel. The Lido restaurant was very plain and looked like something out of the 70's. If we had to guess, this ship was designed by an accountant. Our only hope is that when the Elation undergoes its renovation in September, it does not lose its flair. On the plus side, the food was very good for the most part and the addition of Guy's burgers and Italian, Asian and Steak restaurants were well done. The staff on board was excellent - very attentive, friendly and professional. The theater was small, but the shows were excellent. In summary, we will not sail on the Sunshine again.
Balcony cabin was very small and bathroom was the smallest I have seen in a while.
