Sail Date: Feb 2017
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

12 night Caribbean cruise starting 2/7/17,surprised in several ways, our cabin 7172 had 2 lifeboat holders painted white and deck 6 lifeboats in front of our balcony. No mention it would be partially obstructed, can see about 24 " of ocean looking down. Quiet, long, narrow cabin, bed near door, small bathroom. 1st sea day woke to brewing storm, captain announced in rooms, storm would get worse, seasick pills available. Night brought big ocean swells, torrential rain, spray hitting deck 7.Next day still big swells,

Ship has a great buffet, shops have little costume jewelry, wonderful Diamond Club, thanks Aline,Wonderful Harry E,cabin Steward. Great roast beef sandwiches at 270 but open odd hours. Found a small balcony in rear of buffet, can eat outside, very nice in port. Wonderful ports, Surprising Martinique, ferry to beach 2nd pier to right ,Map at dock, most people speak little english, lucky to have Canadians translate. $7.00 round trip. Thanks to cruise critic for directions.

Embarkation and Disembarkation with 5,000+ was tough, most sea days lines for food, shows, Solarium pools very unique, chairs covered with towels until late pm.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

Steward Harry E was wonderful, long narrow ,bed by door, small bathroom, comfortable bed

2 white lifeboat holders were not mentioned ,they obstruct view, you look down at lifeboats on deck 6. Balcony does not have a light, spotlights on holders reflect light into room
