Our kids were on a winter break so we decided to try this cruise line and ship. We have sailed on Carnival, Royal Carribean, and Holland America. This cruise was fantastic. My husband and my teenagers said this was their favorite cruise of any we have been on.

This cruise had the best entertainment of any cruise ever. The band, Inovations (yes, that is the correct spelling), was amazing. They play in the Atrium Lounge most days and by the pool. They are incredibly talented and, most nights, it was standing room only every night they played.

One of the singers in the "After Midnight" show, Darryl Jovan Williams, did a "solo" show in the Supper Club that was fun and incredibly entertaining. This guy is an incredible human being and made my widowed MIL feel very special. He can really sing and his backup singers and band were talented too. If you go on this cruise, do not hesitate to see his show (it was on Friday night). His show covered his personal journey and life story. This show was the best surprise we could have had.

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M2

Cabin was fine. It was very clean and had decent storage. We traveled with our 2 teenage boys (4 in our room, total). It had a lower and upper bunk for them, plus our bed (king/queen, not sure). The bathroom was the draw here. It was more spacious than a regular room bathroom.

We did not spend much time on the balony. It was the small, had the typical two chairs and small table.

As an FYI - There were two USB ports by the king size bed and three regular outlets on the desk area. If you want to use the ports, you have to insert your key card into the slot when you enter the room to get the lights on and outlets to work. That can be frustrating since it was pitch black at night until you can get your card in the key slot inside the cabin.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Our excursion was cancelled. We hopped in a taxi and toured the island for $25 per person; our driver did not narrate the drive but it was still fun. Went shopping downtown. If you want decent prices on Billabong, go to their store and look in the back for the "Sale Rack" room. Other places had the same items at full price. Our kids always find things there. Also, if you want to eat in downtown, I recommend the Greenhouse.

Nassau

You can take a cab for $4 each way to Paradise Island. I recommend it. You can rent jet skis there. There are a lot of folks competing for your business which can eat annoying.

We initially went to Junkaroo Beach; you can walk from the ship. It was okay, nothing exciting. Went to Paradise Beach after about an hour there.
