I chose this cruise as I was visiting my daughter in Los Angeles & a short trip was all she had time for. Price was right! We thought ship was nice, clean but old. The crew was nice and always friendly. We had an outside cabin and it was large and roomy. We didn't bring a hair dryer as we were sure they were automatically supplied. This was not the case. It was first come, first serve. Luckily we told our cabin steward and he put one in our room. Our room was always clean. The food in the main dining room was another story. The service and waiters were great, but the food was terrible. We were at a table for ten and no one was happy with the main meals. In fact, we returned the dinners and asked for something else. Desserts were good and we could order two if we wanted. We ate breakfast and lunch on the lido deck and meals and choice of selections in the buffet were great. Entertainment was wonderful. The eight people who danced and sang were wonderful. The two comedy acts were terrible! Entertainment throughout the ship was good. All in all the ship was certainly a step down from other cruise lines I have been on, but for the price and convenience, I would do it again.
Cabin was perfect. Bring a hair dryer as they are not supplied.
Live in LA so no excursions
