Having just returned yesterday 7/2004. Let me start with a positive, the ship was nice. It was very clean. We had a waiter in the Italian restaurant that was very friendly and went the extra mile to be sure we were taken care of. I saw him later in the buffet and he was also very friendly there. I asked for tomato juice and he seemed more than happy to get it for me.

BUT... the buffet had much to be desired. There were times that I really could not find anything that I wanted to eat but, fresh fruit. Breakfast was almost exactly the same every day. No omelette bar. No eggs fried to order. Lunch had too many foreign dishes. One afternoon they had prime rib and it was sooo bad I could not eat it! They only offered water or tea, everything else was an additional charge. (No lemonade, no punch). They only offered drinks near the buffet so if you got something of the pizza bar or the hamburger bar then you had to walk almost to the other end of the ship to get something to drink, unless you wanted to buy something. There was always someone there to take your bar order! The ice cream was an additional charge! Often I had to clean a table off myself so I could sit down to eat. Most of the staff there did just what they had to and then many times you had to ask them.

Their schedule for the day was poor. Most of the events were something in their spa which, in the end, turned out to be a sales pitch. What events they did have were one thing per hour and if you didn't want to do that then you you were on your own.
