Usually cruise on disney, so i wasn't sure How carnival would measure.  i Loved it!  A lot of things on disney were slightly better, but for the price difference, It's not worth it!!  I even think the food on carnival was actually much better than disney!!  The Shows on disney are definately better.  But the shows on carnival wern't horrible, they were entertaining, we went to the main show evernight.  The ship was very clean.  Pools were nice.  The staff was friendly, but not as good as disney. We really enjoyed the cruise director Noonan, very personable, new our kids by name by the end of the week.  Great vacation, would definately go again.  My son who is a very picky eater actually gained 10lbs on the cruise!!!! My son actually liked the shows better on carnival. definately a wide variety.  The only thing we all hated, every day the shower would flood the bathroom, the lip around the shower is only like 2 inches high!!!  The chocolate buffet was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Harry supper club was great, The spa was great I did a "Ladies special" 119.00 facial, foot and ankle massage, 30 minute back and scalp massage  it was heaven!!!!!!  My kids were not crazy about the kids program, but they wern't crazy about disny either. they are 12 /13.

half moon cay was gorgeous, also another favorite. rented a canopy for our beach chairs, would not recomend it , they were dark blue and had no ventalation, it got so hot, i couldn't sit under it. We did the horse beach ride. my daughter loved it. my kids did the sting ray encounter, i thought that was a great price, they enjoyed it huge stingrays!!! only negative huge line to get back on the ship!!!
