We loved everything about this Viking Cruise. The ship was brand new and absolutely beautiful. Our cabin was nicely appointed. We had a spacious balcony where we could sit and enjoy the passing scenery. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food and wine was amazing. The trips into port were always fun and informative with local tour guides. The only thing we lacked were bicycles but next time we will rent them in port. We started our trip in LePec, a suburb of Paris adjacent to the very historic town of St. Germaine-en-laye. We sailed from Paris to Normandy with stops in Rouen to see the great cathedral, Monet's house and gardens at Giverny and several other ports of call in historic and charming towns along the Seine. We also had a wonderful day in Paris. The highlight was a day spent at the Normandy beaches including a walk through the American cemetery and World War II museum.
