We are a late 60s couple with over 35 cruises under our belt so we know that not everyone is curious about the same areas when they read a review. This review of our Super Bowl cruise on the Reflection covers things that we are interested in personally when reading a review.
We parked off site in Miami and it went well. You can read my very detailed review of parking on the CC departure ports forum if you are interested.
We are Elite members and were on board very quickly from start to finish. We arrived shortly after 1:00. We rolled our luggage aboard which makes it easy to settle in the cabin quickly. We had cabin 6163 which was a balcony cabin just above the life boats. We really liked the cabin, it was very clean and Nestor the steward was perfect. The location was great for the elevator or for walking down the stairs one floor to pass through the ship on a public floor. The view was a bit obstructed looking down but fine looking straight out. There was some light at night from the walking deck below but no smoke and really no noise from inside or outside except the neighbors slamming doors.
Cabin was well laid out with the bed toward the bath and the desk by the balcony. Storage was adequate and our luggage fit under the bed. You could see part of the life boats from the room and the view down was obstructed. When sitting on the balcony looking straight out the view of the ocean was good. The room was quiet, we were over the photo gallery area. There was some light at night from the deck below but no noise or smoke. The location worked well because we were close to the forward elevators or we could walk down one floor to cross the ship through the public areas on deck five instead of spending so much time in long halls.
