Sail Date: Feb 2017
Cabin: Verandah Stateroom

We have sailed with Carnival, Celebrity. Royal Caribbean and Princess on various cruises previously. We had heard from many that Oceania was a favorite of theirs. We were ready for the "next level" and we were not disappointed.

The Good:

- Terrace Cafe was our favorite because of the quality of the food, it was hot and faster service. They also have lobster, shrimp, steak and fish every night on the grill. (Try and get that on any other Line!).

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin B3

Our cabin had an oversized balcony because of its location on the ship. There was no extra cost for this room because of this added bonus. This allowed us to have to full lounge chairs, a small table, and two chairs all comfortably located for our use. The only perceived negative could be part of our balcony was visible from above. Not a big issue for us. The bed was amazingly comfortable. My wife did not have her regular shoulder soreness for the duration of the cruise. I guess we will be looking for a gel-filled mattress top now that we are at home. The room itself was large enough and quite comfortable with a sofa and chair, desk and larger screen TV. At times it was awkward for us to both be in the closet area at the same time so we had to take turns. We unplugged the closet light at night because the ship movement would open the door and turn the light on. The bathroom layout issue is explained above but we worked around it. Very nice decor though.
