We are Holland cruisers and this was our first time on Celebrity. We asked any time dining or select dining which was fine, no waits, but we went earlier then our 6:30 reserved time, so we could make the 7 pm show. Food was not good, not many choices for anything, and the serving sizes for apps was about one tablespoon, always asked for extra shrimp other then 4 for shrimp cocktail. Vegs were always carrots, green beens and not one baked potato or potato cassarole. You got a heaping tablespoon of mashed potatos, that was it. Steaks and prime rib were good, but entree choices were not good. Lot of Fried foods of pot roasted type meats. We were on for 40 days and the same menu was probably used for 25 days and the other 15 they had a few changes. Even deserts which favorite was chocolate lava cake was the size of a fifty cent piece and was 1.5 inch tall, one on a big plate with a swirl of some fruit coulis.

Our bed had a bent frame with a dip in mattress, took almost two weeks until they finally changed it out, after I had to spend $209 as I got my sciattica back. Room steward was great. One tour with cruise line, $89 each for two hours which went to a look out in Nagasaki and to Peace Park, a free public park, total ripoff. Did all my own tours except for this one. Entertainment was bad as we saw some of the same shows 3 times, should have a better variety.

All and all, no I do not feel they cared that we were on for 3 back to backs, no chocolates, not note to say glad you are staying, made it difficult, had to reregister each time and have our picture retaken and couldn't go to our room or get a drink of coffee, juice without paying. Not customer oriented in my opinion. Guess we will just stick to Holland where our business is appreciated.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 8

Cabin 08

Handicap oceanview, large room, with shower that had a seat in it, which was perfect. Long way for handicap person to walk as it was way in front of ship and food in back of ship, theater was below our room, which did not make noice.
