We just returned from a 5 night cruise to costa maya and Cozumel. Both ports were excellent and would highly suggest taking a Mayan tour with Natives Choice in Costa Maya. As for the ship i found it clean and filled with shops and bars. Now when it comes to entertainment this ship is geared more towards seniors. The entire ship seems to shut down most nights at 10 p.m So consider this if you are younger looking to book a cruise. The comedy shows were so/so. The ice skating production was excellent, but after seeing it once you are left not wanting to see it again.

As for the food the dinning room is the way to go. On most of my cruises I tend to only eat once in the dinning room and eat the buffet the others. On this ship the selection was small on the buffet and not very tasteful. It was glorified cafeteria food with little selection. Now in the dinning room the service was awesome and very fast. I'm so use to other cruises taking up to an 1.5 hours to complete. Not this one they were all over it. The food was great and kept us coming back.

Now the crew was awesome and took care of use for 4 out of our 5 days on the ship. The last sea day they gave up. All attitudes changed and they were done with us. We were at the bar a couple of times and they would see us and keep talking among themselves and would never acknowledge us. Only after a manager would come and tell them to serve us would they do so. This was not only at the bar the entire crew seemed like they wanted you off the ship and that they had already done their job. This being my 4th cruise (2 on carnival, 2 on royal Caribbean) this was my least liked one. The ship was nice but the crew and the buffet turned me off.
