We chose this cruise because of the locations that the ship was going, and that it was an eight-day cruise. Our cabin was on deck 10 in a Spa Balcony, but really didn't really use many of the Spa's facilities. We booked over six months before the cruise was to leave but the deck 9 balconies were all reserved, where we wanted to be.
Port Canaveral was a great port, the only exceptions are that traffic is quite congested coming in and leaving, and when you disembark and are going through the inside the building, it is a bit confusing on where you go before you go through customs. The exception is when you hire a porter then you right ahead.
We went on this cruise with some of our family, which included a 1 1/2-year-old, a four-year-old and a eight-year-old, I believe the kids had a much fun as we did.
Very good cabin, but would have preferred to be on deck 9, but they were all booked, as we didn't really use much of the Spa facilities.
Rented a golf cart which we had pre-booked. We first drove to the Donkey Sanctuary, then to Jibe Beach and then continued south-east end of the island by the slave hut then past where they make salt. When we got back to the town we toured around a bit before we went back on the ship.
We took an open air bus to Palm Beach which a great beach but pricey for the umbrellas and lounges.
Great port, as there is shops/store right off the ship which included Margaritaville where we spent our day. The beach is right there also.
