This was my 3rd cruise but my husband's first time. I read through quite a few reviews before selecting this ship - glad we chose Norwegian Sky! Going for a quick weekend trip I knew not to expect anything glamorous having done a 3-night trip to the Bahamas before (on a different ship) but still wanted to have a great experience for my husband's first cruise. Based on the reviews I read, it met AND exceeded expectations.
Customer Service:
I will quickly agree with many of the other reviewers that the customer service on the ship was EXCELLENT. All the crew was extremely friendly and helpful.
Cabin Review
Mid-Ship Oceanview Porthole Window
We were on the 8th deck, mid-ship, ocean view. It was a great location. Cabins are a little dated but our room was clean. Bed was surprisingly super comfortable! Great pillows. Good shower, though I realized why they have a sign that says to check the temperature of the water before getting in bc if you're not careful the water gets scalding hot - peel your skin off hot.
