This was a nice cruise from New Zealand to Australia, we picked this one as we specifically wanted to visit Tasmania. Our previous experience with celebrity had left us disenchanted and we were pleasantly surprised that as long as we avoided the buffet with its poor service, food and unruly crowds, the experience was pleasant and well-valued. The checkin experience was a little worse mostly due to poor planning in directing people through customs. We used celebrity for 3 excursions and they were all superior but overpriced. The room was maintained but just average. The service in main dining room was above average and the food acceptable but not spectacular at any time. Entertainment choices seemed a little less nteresting than usual for 3 sea days....cruise directors should know by now that they earn their money on sea days, on this cruise they didn't learn that. I though excursion staff and customer relations were both well-prepared and helpful, both improvements over past celebrity ships. The internet was a joke and support for that stiil makes me chuckle for their ineptitude. Disembarkation was very well done almost too efficient frankly...final answer, would we do it again? Yes

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Why did they get rid of the sheer curtains??? My wife will NEVER quit asking that and I never heard a rational reason. As usual it took 2 or 3 days for the steward to do routine things like ice and not having to chase around soap or shampoo.

Rented a car and drove to wineglass bay....well worth it
