This is our third time on the Mille. She has always seemed to be a little behind her twin, Celebritiy's Constellation. Nonetheless she was always serviceable vessel and we had no issues with our past 2 cruises on her.

The long and the short of it is that the ship and the crew are starting to looked tired. Paint in places is flaking, rust is obvious on the cabin balconies, the bathrooms in the cabins need redoing, etc.The Internet service is by far and away the slowest of any ship we've sailed on. The small cabin TV is a useless adornment - for the first four days we got no programming whatsoever. After that it was hit or miss to see if there as 1) reception and 2) and choice of channels. The only constant was the ship's channels or pay to see movies at $15.00 per.

The food (and this was a constant comment from every other passenger we talked with on this cruise) was just plain mediocre. Celebrity has gone way down hill from the quality we had come to expect. The menus were heavy on ground or stewed meats, chicken and pork. The quality was also just not very good. It appeared (to us, at least) that Celebrity is on an economy kick and it certainly shows in the dining room offerings.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B

Cabin 2B

Cabin a bit on the small side but lots of storage space. TV is by definition a 'flat screen' but that's about it. Programming, when available (not very often) was extremely limited.

Port Reviews

Hanoi

Went on our own downtown, There just isn't much of interest to see in Hanoi. Getting around is tricky because most people don't speak or understand English.

Da Nang

Not interested in the ship's tours.

Manila

Ship's tour was quite good. Got to see a lot of colonial Manila with visit to Mall of Asia for good shopping.

Shanghai

No tours were offered
