The Wonder had already kind of been "our ship" because we had sailed on it several times before, so we were anxious to see the changes made. The pool deck upgrades were well done but didn't add anything too extravagant aside from the new slide for the kids' pool.
The makeover of Parrot Cay into Tia's place was definitely a good move. The former was definitely showing its age and ready for an update. The new restaurant is very nice and atmospheric.
The other part of the ship that saw the most changes was the adult nightlife district and again, they hit the mark here as well. The new English pub was definitely one of our favorite hangouts. However, being ships that cater especially (but not solely) to families, things go quiet pretty quickly after 11pm.
DCL cabins are generally a little larger and very well equipped. The staterooms hosts are a big part of the rooms' appeal as they are always spotless. We've never had problems with amenities or equipment in the room.
We took a train trolley tour of Key West and wandered along Duval Street, which gets you the main highlights of this historic and beautiful town.
Castaway Cay is a must-do port day, it's awesome.
We purchased day passes at the British Colonial Hilton to make use of their beach and amenities. The service was attentive, the food and drink was great and we much enjoyed their private beach away from the vendors.
