We were very happy with our time on the Allure of the Seas. The service was excellent. Loved the food in the main dining room. Samba Grill, the Brazilian restaurant, wasn't my favorite but the staff was great. My 11 and 13 year old had a blast. We had the last cabin on deck 8 overlooking the Aquatheater. Great view. The kids loved it! The lines were short for the zip line, rock wall, and flowrider. My 13-year old son loved the teen zone. Mamma Mia was excellent! There were some questionable moments in it for my 11-year old but you are warned about that in the daily schedule. She ended up loving it though as did the rest of the family. The Aquatheater show is also excellent. We loved that even though we had my time dining, we had the same waitstaff every night but the first. It didn't matter if we ate at 5:30 or 8:30. That was a great perk. Best of both worlds.
Cabin has an excellent view of the Aquatheater and movie screen. The movies had the words on the screen in case you were unable to hear. I was able to watch my kids on the rock climbing wall from the balcony. We didn't get people noise in the hallway since it was one of the last rooms in the hall. The boardwalk is noisy but quiets down in time for bed. Fun location!
We took a taxi to Buccano's (the old Hotel Caribe). Taxi was $32 each way from the International port for six people. Entry is $15 per person and includes plenty of beach chairs, shade, beach, swimming pool, and snorkeling equipment. The lower entry rate and entry money used toward food that you may have seen is only for locals. Beach was best suited for snorkeling because there are very large rocks in the water. Snorkeling was fun! Easy for the whole family.
Labadee is beautiful. Sand and water is excellent. We exited boat around noon and most of the chairs were taken. Headed to Columbus Cove and were able to find a few chairs. Food was not awesome. Food on board is much better.
