Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Veranda Suite

This was our third year going on Viking Cruise during the holidays, once again this did not disappoint. We had booked a Veranda Suite for us and French Balcony for our adult children.

Pre Cruise: We choose the extension in Cologne which was at the Hilton. It was an outstanding stay, great location and nice hotel. Easy walk to all the XMAS markets. We met the ship after a bus ride from Cologne to Frankfort with an excellent transfer.

Rooms were excellent, we really enjoyed the Veranda Suite which afforded us a place to meet as a family. Viking now had breakfast room service which we loved. Our room had a tough time connecting to the internet while the french balcony had easy access.

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Cabin AA

Excellent cabin enjoyed the extra room and TV. Bathroom was a bit bigger also. Service was excellent, there were nice Xmas touches such as a book celebrating Xmas and X mas Cookies delivered.

Port Reviews

Nuremberg

SInce it was a holiday many places closed but due to little traffic we were able to see allot more of the city

Bamberg

I enjoyed this city more than I expected, lots of canals lots of shopping.

Frankfurt

Did not enjoy this city as much as I thought very industrial. Not much personality the Xmas markets were repetitive.
