So first of all, I am an avid reader of reviews. I like to be a well informed consumer. Let me say after reading the reviews about this ship and this cruise I was more than nervous about going on my vacation. I didn't pick this cruise. We were invited to go along with a group of 10 friends and family. But I would have never picked this cruise based on the reviews people had given it. So sad. I would like to remind everyone who is going on a cruise, keep in mind, you are agreeing to go on a vacation with 4,000 other people with this ship. If that is not your cup of tea than please find another vacation. Did it take a while to embark, yes, because 4,000 other people were also trying to get on at the same time. There is going to be a line, expect it. But it moves along fairly quickly.

Is this ship big, YES, it is carrying 4,000 other people, I hope it is big! Was it easy to navigate? Once you got your bearings about where things were, yes, it was easy to get around. Our room was what I consider to be a typical cruise ship cabin. This was my 5th cruise and I have yet to have a BIG room. Cruise ship rooms are notoriously small. We always get a room with a balcony to give us extra space. There was sufficient storage space. I kept the room clutter free because of all the storage space and I had several cabinets I didn't even use. And OMG if I have to read one more comment about the bathroom situation on this cruise! Get over it people. It's different, I agree, but these are the things you need to read about BEFORE you pick a ship. If its going to ruin your cruise than choose a different ship. We dealt with it just fine.

The food was really good. We ate everywhere except the specialty dining. When we went to the main dining rooms we never had to wait, we were always seated right away even when there was 12 of us. Were there lines at the buffet? Yes. Were they so long that it ruined my whole experience? No, the 4 other cruises that I have been on, all had lines too. They move very quickly and you never wait more than a couple minutes. We only had a hard time finding seating once and literally I think I waited about 3 mins for a table and someone left and I could sit down. We only took advantage of the free entertainment. The free bands were very nice. We listened to them all and they were great. And let me add this about the crew. They could not have been nicer, friendlier and more helpful. They work so hard and do their jobs so well! I was so impressed with all of them. Don't believe anything you read about them. They were great! Read more
