A Tahiti/French Polynesia cruise has been on my bucket list ever since Windstar initiated this itinerary. I'm a solo cruiser and particularly enjoy the Windstar cruises because of the more intimate, convivial feeling with a relatively small passenger size--about 130 in this case. Not an inexpensive trip for a single, but worth it.

Embarkation was smooth.

SHIP: Delightful 4-masted motor sailing ship. Facilities are adequate for a ship and passenger number of this size. Caveat: some open air facilities like deck dining and happy hour are weather-dependent.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin A

Adequate for 2 people who didn't over-pack: double closet, good size chest of drawers. Lots of nooks and shelves. Double beds slide together. Fold-out table handy. 2 upholstered benches. 2 portholes. Cozy, not roomy. Carpet pretty dingy but was cleaned at my request. Robe and slippers. Very good bathroom with usual toiletries, circular toilet area and shower very important. Excellent storage.
