Wanted a two week cruise to Aruba to get some sunshine. We have done this same cruise three times over the last 4 years on the same Celebrity Eclipse. The ship still looks good they have kept it very clean and in good overall condition. There have been changes since our last cruise in 2015. They no longer offer Sushi in the upstairs restaurant, instead you must now buy it on the 5th floor Sushi bar - noted there where very few takers every night. The Italian restaurant is now mostly a steak house which cost $35 each, but if you want a decent steak you must pay another $8-20 each. Murano is now $50 per person and they are requesting that you also add a tip to the bill. We did eat there and it was very good put not sure it was worth the extra $100.

Blu seems, based on consensus of the people we spoke with, to have lowered the food quality. On three occasions we were served still frozen food - twice in Blu and once upstairs for lunch we were served completely frozen fish as part of the fish and chips lunch. Blu immediately replaced the food.and we declined the lunch replacement.

Entertainment was hit or miss but most people seemed to enjoy the show.
