I think the most remarkable thing about this cruise was the friendliness and openness of my fellow passengers! We enjoyed almost of our meals sharing light conversation with others. The cruise director, John, was excellent. Cool and not in your face.

Food was okay by me and my husband, but we could be NY snobs as far as food is concerned - and also our last cruise was on Oceania - Riviera where the food was "over the top". We thought the entertainment was excellent! Enjoyed many of the nightly shows. The itinerary was good, but felt that an overnight in Cozumel was not necessary.

Our cabin 9300 was in a great location - just a few cabins away from the main elevator bank. I don't know whether I would take Concierge class again. Not sure if the little perks were worth the extra $$. We didn't take a drink package, and were fine with just a glass of wine with dinner. (We probably saved a few calories that way too). We would definitely consider cruising again on the Celebrity Equinox.

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

Great location! Just a few cabins away from the main elevators!

Balcony was good for catching private rays, and hanging my bathingsuit out to dry.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Fort Lauderdale and it's environs is a great location and city.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Just took a $5 taki to the beach and then walked along the 7 mile beach for a long time. So beautiful

Cartagena (Colombia)

We paid $100 for a private taxi tour for just my husband and myself. Very nice.

Colon (Cristobal)

Roberto is an excellent guide - especially since he has been employed by the Panama Canal Company for all of his adult life.

Cozumel

Very clean and new nice port. I think we were at the INternational Port which is several miles from downtown where all the shops are. I walked all the way back from downtown to the dock and it was over 14,000 steps according to my smartphone.
