This was one of the best cruises I have ever done. From the speedy check in, 15 minutes from checking in to being on board, and then leaving took 10 minutes getting off. The food was fantastic. I never had a bad meal and the staff were very good and helpful and happy.

We had breakfast at the Solarium every morning and it was quite peaceful there. The bar staff went to a lot of trouble to get us the bottle of wine we wanted. Our cabin was beautiful and being new lovely and clean thanks to our wonderful cabin steward. Having a kettle in the room was very handy for an early morning cup of tea or afternoon tea when you felt like some quiet time. Not that the ship was noisy. No noise in our cabin at all.

There was always something to do during the day and night or else just sit in the Solarium and relax. We did the North Star and the I Fly which was an experience. I never found we had to queue for anything except getting off the ship which you would expect and that wasn't very long anyway. Coming back from Aukland was so well done you didn't notice the big queue. The only bad thing was people not knowing how to queue and just pushing in. The three shows we saw were brilliant. How they manage that on a ship I don't know. I would certainly go again and take my grandchildren. I think they would love it.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Beautiful cabin and well set out. Plenty of room to move and store everything. Loved having the kettle in the room for an early morning cup of tea and when we felt like a bit of quiet time. The bathroom was lovely without a shower curtain. Lovely balcony to sit on and relax.
