on first glimpse the ship looks outstanding, but a closer look reveals a tired old ship. the recent refurbishment must have been very rushed as the ship has signs of wear and tear and is showing its age behind the cover ups. he layout of the ship can be quiet confusing at times. our cabin was clean although the couch was ripped and our bathroom light didn't work for a majority of the trip. like all P&O cruises the staff are outstanding and very professional although they did struggle to keep up with drinks, we waited 20 minutes for our drinks at one stage. The new pantry is average at best and is the same thing over and over. we dinned at angellos and the dragon lady (both included in the fare) and found them to be outstanding. the entertainment was very good with something to suit everyone. overall i wont be in a hurry to cruise on the aria again.
