Received this cruise as a free gift from cousin's bf. He received it as a business promotion, (not affiliated with the cruise line.) I really enjoyed the comedian, and the broadway type musical shows, as well as "The Voice of the Ocean" singing contest. Trivia games, and dance lessons were also a lot of fun. The food was always excellent-fresh fruits and salads, several main entrees, and glorious desserts, including sugar and gluten free ones. A wide variety of vegetarian options were always available. The 24 hour walk-up international cafe was also a highlight allowing you to grab a quick sandwich, salad, or dessert. Only waiting for food we ever had to do was one night at the International cafe, after a show, when they only had one staffer working. I mentioned it to another staff person standing nearby, and within a few minutes another worker was sent out. Only bad food I had was one of their chocolate cookies-it was stale.

The "life-jacket" muster presentation was held inside, where most attendees could sit-down! Unlike a lot of other ones held outside standing-from the buzz I heard from other passengers during and after it. Photos were not heavily marketed, activities were written on the daily Princess Patter leaflet, as well as announced after shows in the Princess Theater. Speaking of the theater-the seats are really narrow, and I just fit with my 42" hips. Larger individuals, I am guessing, will be uncomfortable. To get a seat for the early 8:00 shows arrive at least a half hour ahead of time, later shows at 10:00 are less crowded-15 mins. lead time should do it.

Only factor I didn't like was the fact that you had to go to deck 6 or 7 to get to some areas, b/c of the center Piazza. It made getting around the ship annoying and confusing, but lots of knowledgeable staffers were always around to help.

The bed appeared brand new and was heavenly! The mattress was supportive and oh so comfortable! Coming from someone with arthritis and fibromyalgia that's saying a lot! Pillows seemed too big and poofy at first but they were perfect. Room was always clean.
