This was our 4th time on the Freedom. We were happy to see that the ship itself has been well kept up. When we got to our balcony cabin, we were extra pleased to see that the old deck furniture had been replaced with some very nice new pieces.
There was only one negative experience this trip and that was the tender to Grand Cayman. Someone had dropped the ball on lining people up properly and people were getting irate that the two main lines were converging. At one point there was even a guy on the stairs yelling at the people in the other line telling them that they were not in the line and had to go upstairs to get in line.
Oh well, We were on vacation and we let the whole thing just happen.
We love these cabins on the hump. There is a nice gap between the curtain and the balcony that we always use to stow our luggage and it is never in the way.
Very fast process getting on the ship with reasonable parking nearby and a shuttle.
We spent some time geocaching here. I recomend the bus system and the island is safe to venture out on your own.
This tour was just $26 each and visited a place with 1/25th scale models of many of the famous landmarks in Mexico. Our tour guide was the best that we have ever had. I think his name was Bo.
We caught a ride to Tropicante. Top notch attention to service from Jorge and a great geocache right there inside the building.
