I felt compelled to write a review upon disembarking from the ship. We booked this cruise a year ago and I read review after review all year and became increasingly nervous. Once on the ship both my husband and I had the same thought, Were these reviewers even on the same cruise ship? We had an amazing time. Maybe we are more laid back than other posters but we didn't have too many complaints! That being said, I did my research and as soon as we got on the boat we went right to Headliners to book the shows we didn't book online and our tenders. We got tender A. We had no problems on tender days, though I did hear complaining from miserable passengers. Maybe people just like to complain?
Embarkation was a little odd. I'm not sure why they have you pick a time to check in when you can't actually get on the boat at that time. We were there at 10:00am but didn't get on the boat until 1:00pm. We should have just waited and picked the last time. Disembarkation was a breeze. We chose to carry our luggage off and didn't experience a crazy line to get off.
I'll start with the cabin. We had 4 of us in an inside family stateroom. Yes the cabin was tiny and the layout is weird with the shower and toilet but we survived and it didn't bother us. We went into it already knowing this. So why let something so silly ruin a trip? Our cabin steward was the only employee we encountered through the entire week that was less than happy to be working. We didn't see him much and didn't need him so it didn't really matter to us. He did his job and we had no issues with that.
